Description

The Japanese 25th Anniversary Promo Pack is a sealed Promo Card Pack 25th Anniversary Edition from October 2021, holding one of 25 replica cards of famous designs from the game’s history. A single pack is the simplest way to try a set, and every one could hold one of its biggest chase cards.

What’s inside the Japanese 25th Anniversary Promo Pack

  • 1 sealed Japanese promo pack
  • 1 card inside, from a set of 25 numbered 001/025 to 025/025
  • Replicas of famous cards from earlier series

These packs were never sold on their own in Japan: participating stores gave one pack for every four 25th Anniversary Collection packs bought.

The Pokémon Card Game’s 25th anniversary in Japan

The 25th Anniversary Collection celebrated 25 years of the Pokémon Card Game in Japan in October 2021. Alongside it, special promo packs containing replicas of famous cards from earlier series were handed out with purchases, which has made them a sought-after collectable today.

You can see the full set on the official Pokémon Card Game website (Japan).

Who the Japanese 25th Anniversary Promo Pack is for

Single packs make great stocking fillers, party-bag treats and rewards for young collectors, and they are an easy way to keep opening a favourite set without committing to a whole box. Every pack is a fresh chance at a chase card, which is half the fun.
