The next Pokémon set: Delta Reign
The most recent English expansion is Mega Evolution—Delta Reign, released worldwide on 6 November 2026. It is led by Mega Rayquaza ex and introduces Legendary Stadiums, pairs of Stadium cards that join into one illustration. Final 30th Celebration products
The Pokémon 30th Celebration line has been released in waves since September 2026. The last wave is due on 4 December 2026 and includes the Binder Collection. The premium Ultra Premium Collections, such as the Ultra Premium Collection Day, arrived on 6 November alongside Delta Reign.

The next English set in 2027
No English set for 2027 has been officially announced yet. However, The Pokémon Company has already shown an English Mega Lucario Z ex card. That card carries the set code FLO and a 2027 copyright line, which points to the first English main set of 2027.
Fan news sites have reported the set’s name as Flowing Fists, with a release date of 5 February 2027. That would fit the pattern of 2026, when a new English expansion arrived roughly every eight weeks. Until The Pokémon Company confirms it, treat the name and date as reported.
Mega Lucario Z ex: the next big card
Mega Lucario Z ex is the headline card of the next wave. Mega Lucario Z is one of the new Z Mega Evolutions from the Mega Dimension expansion of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and The Pokémon Company has described the card as making its debut as a powerful Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
The English card shown so far is a Metal-type Pokémon with 330 HP. Its ability searches your deck for a Supporter, and its attack hits harder against Pokémon ex. Card details can still change before release, as the images were labelled as under development.

Aura Seeker
Aura Seeker is the next Japanese main set. It has been reported for release on 27 November 2026, with Mega Lucario Z ex as its headline card, and The Pokémon Company has already revealed Mega Lucario Z ex, Riolu and Sigilyph ex. MEGA x MEGA Parade
MEGA x MEGA Parade is a Japanese High Class Pack reported for 19 February 2027. Four Mega Attack Rares, showing Mega Greninja, Mega Zygarde, Mega Darkrai and Mega Rayquaza, have been revealed and are reported to belong to this set. High Class Packs are premium sets packed with rare cards, so this is one to watch.
A new ex star series
The Pokémon Company has also teased a new card series called ex star, with a teaser reported to show the legendary beasts Raikou, Entei and Suicune. Details are still limited, but it suggests something new is coming to the card game in 2027.
How often do new Pokémon sets come out?
In 2026, a new English expansion arrived roughly every eight weeks: Ascended Heroes in January, Perfect Order in March, Chaos Rising in May, Pitch Black in July, 30th Celebration in September and Delta Reign in November. Most English sets release on a Friday.

Release dates for upcoming Pokémon sets are usually reliable once The Pokémon Company publishes them, but reported dates can move. Product line-ups also grow over time, with extra collection boxes and tins often announced closer to launch. That is why we separate confirmed dates from reported ones and update this page as news arrives.
Other upcoming Pokémon products
Each English set comes with a familiar range of products: Booster Bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster boxes, blisters and collection boxes. Special sets often skip booster boxes and add premium collections instead. Alongside the main sets, look out for tins, mini tins and special collections released around holidays.

How to pre-order upcoming Pokémon sets in the UK

- Order early for popular sets. Elite Trainer Boxes and booster boxes from big sets can sell out on launch day.
- Consider Japanese boxes. If you cannot wait, Japanese sets let you open new artwork months earlier.
Prerelease events
Most main English sets have prerelease events at Play! Pokémon stores about two weeks before launch. Players open a Build and Battle Box, build a deck on the day and play a few casual rounds. Special sets, such as Ascended Heroes, sometimes skip prereleases. If you want to try a set early, ask your local store about its next prerelease.

Do not forget older sets

The Mega Evolution era looks set to continue into 2027, with Mega Lucario Z ex leading the first English set and a Japanese High Class Pack full of Mega Attack Rares following soon after. If the 2026 pattern holds, expect a new English expansion every couple of months, plus special products throughout the year.
