Abyss Eye: Mega Darkrai ex in Japanese

Abyss Eye is the M5 expansion of the Japanese Mega Evolution series, released on 22 May 2026, and the Japanese counterpart of the English Pitch Black. Mega Darkrai ex leads the set alongside Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex, with Super Rare versions of several of them to chase.

You can see the full set on the official Abyss Eye page (Japan).

Who the Japanese Abyss Eye Booster Box is for

Japanese sets usually arrive months before their English counterparts, and many collectors prefer Japanese cards for their print quality and crisp card stock. A sealed box lets you open the set in quantity, fill a binder with Japanese cards or keep a sealed piece of the series on your shelf.

Whatever you decide, store sealed products flat and away from direct sunlight and damp so the packaging stays in great condition. Once opened, sleeve your best pulls straight away and keep them in a binder or top loader.
