The Labubu price you pay can vary a lot. A single blind box from the official Pop Mart range costs a fixed retail price, but the same figure can sell for far more once a series sells out, and a secret figure can be worth many times what the box cost. This guide explains what affects Labubu prices in the UK, how single boxes compare with sealed cases and how to make sure you are paying a fair price.

What is Labubu?

Labubu is a mischievous forest creature with nine pointed teeth, created by the Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung as part of his world called The Monsters. Since 2019 Labubu has been made into collectable figures by Pop Mart, the company famous for blind box toys. In the last few years Labubu has become one of the most popular collectables in the world, with fans clipping vinyl plush pendants to their bags and lining up for every new release.
Where Labubu came from
Kasing Lung first drew Labubu for his illustrated stories about The Monsters, a group of elf-like creatures who live in a forest. Labubu is the most famous of them, known for a cheeky grin and a kind heart. When Pop Mart began making Labubu figures, the character reached a much wider audience, and celebrity fans helped turn it into a global trend.
How Labubu pricing works
Most Labubu figures are sold as blind boxes. You buy a sealed box without knowing which design is inside, and each series has a set of regular designs plus a rare secret figure. That format is why prices work in two layers:
- Retail price: the fixed price set by Pop Mart for a single blind box or a full sealed case.
- Collector price: what people pay for a specific figure once it has been opened and identified, which depends on demand, rarity and condition.
The retail Labubu price is the same whichever figure is inside. The collector price can be very different for each figure in the series.
Labubu price by format
| Format | What you get | How the price works |
|---|---|---|
| Single blind box | One random figure from the series | Lowest entry price, but you cannot choose the design |
| Sealed case | A full display of blind boxes from one series | Higher upfront cost, usually one of each regular design and a chance at the secret |
| Opened figure | A specific figure you can see before buying | Price set by demand, often higher for popular colours |
| Secret figure | The rare chase figure of a series | The highest prices, often many times the retail price |
Official Pop Mart UK prices for a single blind box have typically sat in the high teens to mid-twenties of pounds, depending on the series and whether it is a vinyl plush pendant or a larger vinyl face figure. Prices change between series, so always check the current price before you buy.
Why do Labubu prices vary so much?
- The series. Early series such as Exciting Macaron are harder to find now, so they usually cost more.
- Demand for a design. Some colours become favourites and sell for more once opened.
- Secret figures. With odds of around 1 in 72 for many series, secrets are rare and command high prices.
- Sealed or opened. A sealed box keeps the mystery, while an opened figure is valued on the design inside.
- Authenticity. Real Pop Mart Labubu figures hold their value. Fakes are worth very little.
Labubu price by series
These are some of the best-known Labubu series and what makes each one sought after:
Exciting Macaron

The first Labubu series sold in blind boxes, released in October 2023. Its six pastel, dessert-inspired designs include Sea Salt Coconut, Toffee, Sesame Bean, Green Grape, Lychee Berry and Soymilk, with Chestnut Cocoa as the secret. As the series that made Labubu famous, it remains one of the most collected. Shop the Exciting Macaron sealed display case.
Have a Seat
The second series shows Labubu in seated poses, with Duoduo as its secret figure. It is popular for desk displays and shelf collections.
Big Into Energy
Launched globally in April 2025, Big Into Energy brought bright tie-dye colours and six designs named Love, Happiness, Loyalty, Serenity, Hope and Luck, plus the secret ID. Shop the Big Into Energy sealed case.
Collaborations
Labubu collaborations with famous brands are some of the most eye-catching releases. Our range includes the THE MONSTERS Coca-Cola Series sealed case and the Disney Mickey Family Together sealed case. Collaborations are made for a limited time, so they can become harder to find after release.
Pin for Love
The Pin for Love series comes in two halves, A to M and N to Z, with letter-themed designs that make great personalised gifts. See the Pin for Love A to M case and the Pin for Love N to Z case.
Vinyl plush pendants vs vinyl figures
Labubu comes in a few formats, and the format affects the price. Vinyl plush pendants have a vinyl face and a soft plush body, with a loop so you can hang them from a bag. Vinyl face figures are larger display pieces. There are also smaller figures, phone charms and special editions. Pendants are the most popular format and are often the first Labubu people buy.
Single blind box or sealed case?
If you want one Labubu as a gift or a treat, a single blind box is the simplest choice. If you want to collect a whole series, a sealed case is usually better value, because it is designed to give you a full set of regular designs, with a chance that the secret replaces one of them.
- Choose a single box for gifts, a first Labubu or the fun of a surprise.
- Choose a sealed case to collect a full series without hunting for each design separately.
- Choose an opened figure if you want a specific colour and do not mind paying more for it.
How to avoid overpaying for Labubu

- Know the retail price. Compare any listing with the official price for that series.
- Be careful with very cheap listings. A Labubu price far below retail is a common sign of a fake.
- Check the box. Real boxes have a QR code and Pop Mart branding. Our real Labubu guide explains every check.
- Buy sealed from trusted shops. A sealed case from a reputable retailer removes most of the risk.
Buying Labubu in the UK
Official releases are sold through Pop Mart’s own website and stores, as well as through other retailers. New drops often sell out very quickly, which is one reason prices rise once a series is gone. If you miss a release, buying from an established shop is safer than buying from unknown sellers online, where fakes are common.
Labubu as a gift
Labubu makes a fun gift because of the surprise inside each box. If you are buying for someone else, a single blind box from a popular series is a safe choice. For a bigger present, a sealed case lets them collect a whole series at once. Keep the receipt and the box sealed until it is given, so the recipient gets the full unboxing experience.
Are secret Labubu figures worth more?
Yes. Secret figures are the rarest in each series and usually the most valuable. Our secret Labubu guide explains the odds and lists the best-known secrets, including Chestnut Cocoa, Duoduo and ID.
Will Labubu prices go up or down?
Nobody can say for sure. Some Labubu figures have risen sharply in value, while others have fallen after the initial excitement of a release. We are not financial advisers, so our advice is simple: buy the Labubu you love at a fair price, and treat any rise in value as a bonus.
Looking after your Labubu
- Keep the box and card. Collectors value figures with their original packaging.
- Avoid direct sunlight. Strong light can fade colours over time.
- Clean gently. Use a soft brush on plush surfaces rather than water.
- Store away from damp. Moisture can damage plush and packaging.

Labubu price FAQs
How much is a Labubu in the UK?
A single official blind box has typically cost in the high teens to mid-twenties of pounds, depending on the series. Opened and secret figures can cost much more.
Why are some Labubu so expensive?
Rarity and demand. Secret figures, sold-out series and limited collaborations are harder to find, so their prices rise.
Is a sealed case better value?
Usually, if you want the whole series, as a case is designed to give you a full set of regular designs.
Does an opened Labubu lose value?
Opening a box reveals the design, so the value then depends on which figure you got. Popular designs and secrets can be worth more than the box, while less popular designs may be worth less.
Why is the same Labubu priced differently by sellers?
Sellers price opened figures by demand, condition and whether the box and card are included. A sealed box always sells at the series price, because nobody knows what is inside.
Where can I check official Labubu releases?
Pop Mart lists its official releases on the official Pop Mart website.
