Scarlet ex and Violet ex: where the era began
Scarlet ex (SV1S) and Violet ex (SV1V) were released together in Japan on 20 January 2023 as the first Scarlet & Violet expansions, bringing back Pokémon ex and introducing Terastal Pokémon. Koraidon ex leads Scarlet ex and Miraidon ex leads Violet ex, and the two were later combined into the English Scarlet & Violet base set. Pokémon Korea released Scarlet ex and its twin Violet ex on 15 March 2023, the first Korean expansions of the Scarlet & Violet era.
